The NOAA Says Oil-Contaminated Fish are "Safe to Eat" Within Weeks. Do You Believe Them?

Dr. Lubchenco, an administrator for The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) states in this video that although fish in the gulf are contaminated initially, they could be "safe to eat" within weeks. Do you believe it?

Our question is, have they done experiments on the fish to see how fast the oil and chemical corexit metabolizes? Where are the studies that prove that fish metabolize and excrete oil and corexit within weeks?
