Eating These 3 Superfoods Can Make You Look and Feel Decades Younger

Superfoods are naturally occurring foods with high concentrations of nutrients, antioxidants, enzymes, amino acids, and other compounds to protect and repair damage to our cells. Some of these superfoods are backed by over 4000 studies, boost metabolism, have more digestible protein than beef and 11 times more calcium than a cup of cow's milk.

When it comes to superfoods, chlorella, spirulina and barley grass are at the top of the superfood chain. They are what is considered "health saving" superfoods because they can literally reverse disease and advance health beyond the current limitations of conventional produce. Here's why:

  1. CHLORELLA
  2. A green algae that contains 18 amino acids, magnesium, zinc and other nutrients; over 4,000 studies published in Japan and Taiwan show chlorella helps cut blood pressure and cholesterol numbers down to size, boosts metabolism, and clobbers abnormal cell growth. It’s like a tiny green magician with the power to make you feel and look 20 years younger and help many of your medical concerns simply vanish.

Thousands of Japanese people say chlorella has helped them live well into their 90’s!

Scientists in South Korea recently found that carotenoids from chlorella may be effectively used to prevent cancer in humans. They discovered the primary carotenoid from C. ellipsoidea is violaxanthin, while the major carotenoid from C. vulgaris is lutein. They examined the activity of semi-purified extracts of these carotenoids against human cancer and found they inhibited cancer cell growth in a dose-dependent manner.

Chlorophyll neutralizes environmental toxins and pollutants. It helps the blood carry oxygen to all cells and tissues. Cancer cannot thrive in cells that are fully oxygenated. Chlorophyll plays a part in chlorella's ability to detoxify heavy metals, and is a natural wound healer. There is evidence that chlorophyll reduces the ability of carcinogens to bind with DNA in major organs. Its anti-mutagenic properties make it protective against toxins such as pharmaceutical drugs.

The vitamins and minerals in chlorella are plentiful. It is rich in vitamins A, C, E, and K, and is one of the few whole food sources of vitamin D. Chlorella has the complete vitamin B complex with more B-12 than liver by weight. Beta carotene and lutein, two carotenoids with a wealth of disease fighting benefits, are found in abundance.

  3. SPRIRULINA
  4. Scientific analysis shows that green algae contain 12 times more digestible protein than beef! It is a complete protein and contains a higher concentration of protein by weight than any food ever studied. Spirulina also provides an abundance of healthy gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). This essential fatty acid is one of the “good fats” your body needs to keep your brain sharp, to maintain a strong heart beat, and to keep your nervous system fired up!

This algae is made of a spiral strand which gives it its name. Likewise, spirulina is rich in vitamins B, E, K and beta carotene as well as iron and magnesium and essential fatty acids. It contains amino acids that promote improved mental functioning, vitality and energy, and balanced blood sugar. Spirulina can also promote immune function.

  5. BARELY GRASS
  6. A green grass with nutrients and antioxidants to protect your cells from damage and detoxify your liver! Barley grass also contains plenty of fiber to help sweep waste from your colon and fats from your body. This balancing, vitamin-packed superfood is especially effective at promoting an alkaline environment in the body - it is also gluten-free and non-allergenic.

It also contains 5 times more iron than 1 cup of spinach...7 times more vitamin C than 1 medium orange...and 11 times more calcium than a cup of cow’s milk!
