Power Your Lungs Green Juice or Smoothie


Juicing or blending vegetables is an amazing way to nourish your body with the highest bioavailable doses of vitamins and minerals, and you can customize your recipe to optimize specific health benefits. This particular juice or smoothie not only tastes incredible, but it is in fact either medicinal or a health booster for your lungs, especially if consumed daily.

Ingredients

3 Kale Leafs (can remove stems if desired)
3 Celery Stalks
1 Piece of Ginger (2 inches)
1 Apple
1/2 Lemon (peeled)

You can juice the above ingredients or combine them all in a smoothie with 1 cup of ice and 1 cup of either coconut milk or water. Either way, both methods are delicious.

If you find ginger too strong trim it down to a 1 inch piece and reduce the celery to 2 stalks if you find it too bitter. Every single ingredient in this recipe has a medicinal effect on the lungs through strong antioxidant benefits that can even prevent lung cancer.
