It's Official - All Children Must Be Vaccinated To Attend Public and Private School in California
If you think it's not a precedent for the rest of the country, you're not paying attention. The controversial senate bill 277 that required all school children to be vaccinated has now been signed by Governor Jerry Brown. It now sets a new level of medical tyranny which will expand nationally.
In the signing message, Governor Brown wrote: "The science is clear that vaccines dramatically protect children against a number of infectious and dangerous diseases. While it's true that no medical intervention is without risk, the evidence shows that immunization powerfully benefits and protects the community."
Senate Bill 277 strikes California's personal belief exemption for vaccination, applies to public and private school students and children enrolling in day care. It's among the strictest vaccination guidelines in the country joining Mississippi and West Virginia and a sure sign of what's to come in other states.
SB 277 was introduced after an outbreak of measles at Disneyland in December which infected just 100 people in the U.S. and Mexico. It affected only 24 out of the 6.7 million school-aged children in California.This equates to just 18% of the total 134 cases of measles. The outbreak was not centered in schools and there was not a single documented transmission of the disease in a school setting. The majority of cases occurred near the epicenter and where measles spread to communities removed from the epicenter it was well contained with a small handful of cases per county. On April 17, 2015 the measles outbreak was declared over and did not result in any deaths. The mandate was clearly not about the outbreak but about control over the millions of people who are now becoming informed o the dangers of vaccination.
Mandatory vaccines will dramatically affect lower-income families the most. More affluent families will home school, find private alternative doctors to sign waivers, or move out of the State of California altogether.
it is not based on scientific evidence or compelling state interest;
it is a violation of parental and human rights;
it requires children to risk vaccine injury, while vaccine manufacturers and doctors administering vaccines are shielded from vaccine injury liability;
it discriminates against children to deny them a school-based education guaranteed by the California Constitution; and
it will be excessively expensive to administer and enforce.
Due to water shut-offs and government ordered restrictions, California is now headed towards a collapse of monumental proportions. SB 277 is only icing on the cake. If you have children, it's in your best interest to move out of this state before things get worse...much worse at the hands of politicians that don't care about their constituents. They only care about their masters and we all know who they are.
