May 31, 2013 | Vaccines | D.Mihalovic

Greater powers are at work to make mandatory vaccination policies which will allow officials to conduct childhood vaccinations without any parental consent at all. The inventor of the rotavirus vaccine wants all exemptions based on religious or philosophical grounds to end along with informed consent and the freedom to choose.

Amaranth Plants Are Now Succeeding Where GMO Activists Are Failing - They Are Resisting Monsanto's Glyphosate
May 29, 2013 | GMO | J.Summerly
Plants are finally turning Monsanto's dreams into nightmares. Nature has a funny way of always coming on top and the Amaranth plant is a perfect example. All anti-GMO activism has led to little resistance against the powerful lobbyists at Monsanto and their dominion over government policy. But Amaranth is showing the biotech giant you can't mess with nature without consequences.

Genes Are Not The Problem, It's The Food Genius
May 28, 2013 | NaturalLiving | K.Foster
Two-thirds of disease would vanish if society could revert to the way it did certain things just 100 years ago. The emphasis on faulty genes is misplaced and a misguided attempt to cast blame on a culture that has lost its way in terms of survival. Genes are not the problem since their products are largely dependent on lifestyle choices. Our quality of food, activity levels and family structure is essentially killing this generation of human beings.

Hospitals Love To Serve Overcooked GMO Slop To Sick Patients
May 27, 2013 | JunkHealthcare | N.Longo
Unless you've experienced a very acute injury requiring life-saving emergency medical attention, most hospital stays are not conducive environments for healing, especially relating to nutritional support. Hospital food is almost unpalatable and from the perspective of nutrient density and optimal nourishment of which patients require the highest levels, the food in these care facilities could be considered equivalent to, if not worse than soup kitchens for the needy. Take a look at some of these pictures of overcooked slop filled with genetically modified ingredients which typically fill the menus of hospitals worldwide.

Irrefutable Evidence Shows Historical Application of Vaccines Had No Health Benefit or Impact on Prevention of Infectious Disease
May 24, 2013 | Vaccines | D.Mihalovic
A summary review of data on neurological adverse events and the historical role of vaccination in the natural course of infectious disease in Switzerland and Germany, supports data from other regions with evidence that vaccines had no impact on disease prevention efforts from the early-mid to late 20th century. The data contradicts widespread misinformation campaigns by mainstream medicine which claim that vaccination led to immunization and a subsequent decline in infectious disease. The review supports other data around the world and mounting evidence that vaccine effectiveness is unproven, unjustified and lacking evidence-based medicine. The report was authored by the Department of Pediatric Rehabilitation of the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland and published in Progress in Health Sciences a division of The International Journal of Health Sciences.

Medical Laboratories Are Reporting Findings For Gene Testing They Have Not Received Consent For
May 17, 2013 | JunkHealthcare | D.Mihalovic
Genetic testing is now officially crossing into dangerous territory as patients are routinely denied informed consent for genes they have given no authorization to test for. This type of clinical testing has long required patient consent and patients have had a "right not to know" the results. However, as 21st century medicine now begins to use the tools of genome sequencing, patient have no opportunity to opt-out of specific gene testing except to decline the entire sequencing. The act is unethical and critics charge that pharmaceutical companies may be to blame in influencing testing protocols to ultimately increase the percentage of a medicated demographic.

Societal vs Individual Risk - Medical Injury Poses The Greatest Risk To Your Health
May 14, 2013 | JunkHealthcare | Editor
Education is the key to health, wellness, longevity, and freedom from societal dysfunction. The more we follow medical propaganda, the higher the risk of death. This chart has been created to show the percentage of fatalities of people that are subjected to identified ‘risk’ from an outside source, if they are exposed to this risk, such as medicine, accidents, war, poisoning, etc. Note how tiny the risk is from herbal medicine and supplements...yet codex alimentarius has identified these natural treatments as ‘high risk’ and is actively removing our access to these safe and effective treatments. Medical injury poses the greatest risk to society simply because vastly more citizens are exposed to that risk and hence die.

A Safe Way To Naturally Whiten Your Teeth
May 13, 2013 | OralHealth | E.Schumacher
Many people are obsessed with white teeth. We associate white with clean and healthy. In fact, each year, Americans spend approximately $1.4 billion on tooth-whitening products -- and that's just over-the-counter solutions. As a person ages, the adult teeth often become darker due to changes in the mineral structure of the tooth, as the enamel becomes less porous and phosphate-deficient. Teeth can also become stained by bacterial pigments, foods and vegetables rich with carotenoids or xanthonoids. Certain antibacterial medications can also cause teeth stains or a reduction in the brilliance of the enamel. And even ingesting colored liquids like coffee, tea and red wine can also discolor teeth.

Hemp Could Free Us From Oil, Prevent Deforestation, Cure Cancer and It's Environmentally Friendly - So Why Is It Illegal?
May 13, 2013 | Sustainability | M.Torres
Hemp is a tall, beautiful and gracious looking annual plant that can reach heights over twelve feet. Although hemp (cannabis sativa) and marijuana (cannabis sativa var. indica) come from a similar species of plant, they are very different and confusion has been caused by deliberate misinformation with far reaching effects on socioeconomics as well as on environmental matters. The reason hemp is illegal is not because of any negative impact to the environment or human health, but exactly the opposite. It is so environmentally friendly, nutritionally and medicinally beneficial, that it provides too many abundant resources which would make it impossible for powerful corporations to compete.

A Key Predictor of Well-Being: Healthy Bowel Movements
May 9, 2013 | HumanBody | K.Foster
No one likes to talk about it, but regularity is absolutely imperative to good health. We need to exercise greater transparency and discussion when it comes to paying attention to our stools. When we accept that our bowel movements are key predictors to our well-being and as useful in diagnosing our health as taking our temperature or our blood pressure, they suddenly become much more than an oversight.

Magnesium, NOT Calcium, Is The Key To Healthy Bones
May 8, 2013 | Nutrition | M.Torres
The belief that calcium is the holy grail of what builds strong bones is absolutely ingrained in our society, but has no basis in reality--calcium is but ONE of the many minerals your body needs for building strong bones. Dietary intake of magnesium, not necessarily calcium, may be the key to developing healthy bones during childhood, according to new research presented at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) annual meeting in the USA.

Why You Never Need A Tetanus Vaccine, Regardless of Your Age or Location
May 7, 2013 | Vaccines | D.Mihalovic
As with most vaccines, we have been led to believe that a tetanus shot is a necessity to protect us from a supposedly virulent germ that can lead us to our death. When we carefully consider some of the facts on tetanus reported in the medical literature, we find many contradictions, inconsistencies and even falsities in relation to actual facts on the bacteria that supposedly produces the neurotoxin. If spores of the bacteria have been found in vast numbers of wounds without producing any tetanus, then why is it considered such a threat at all?

The More Vaccines An Infant Receives In Its First Year, The Higher The Mortality Rate
May 2, 2013 | Vaccines | D.Mihalovic
How many babies have to die for Doctors to get it? Synergistic toxicity is a well-known phenomenon where the combination of toxic substances can be greater than the sum of its parts. Therefore, mixing two non-lethal levels of chemicals inside a vaccine can lead to an extremely toxic mixture. The medical community appears to gloss over this very pertinent fact that appears to be progressively killing more infants every year.
